Since 2013, approved by the State Council of China, a 72-Hour Visa-Free transit policy has been implemented in 12 airports, including the :

Beijing (Capital International Airport),
Dalian (Zhoushuizi International Airport),
Shenyang (Taoxian International Airport),
Shanghai (Hongqiao International Airport, Pudong International Airport),
Hangzhou (Hangzhou International Airport),
Guangzhou (Baiyun International Airport),
Guilin (Guilin Liangjiang International Airport),
Chongqing (Jiangbei International Airport),
Chengdu (Shuangliu International Airport),
Kunming (Changshui International Airport),
Xi’an (Xianyang International Airport) and
Xiamen (Gaoqi International airport).

The policy will benefit passengers from 51 countries who hold valid international travel documents and joint way tickets with confirmed dates and seats that plan to departure for third countries/regions within 72 hours.
